Introduce children to the beauty of the Catholic faith through art with Sacred Art ABCs, a thoughtfully designed A–Z curriculum that brings together sacred artwork, Scripture and faith-based discussions, creativity, and hands-on learning.

Created and taught by a Catholic artist and art educator, this curriculum was developed through a full year of real classroom experience with young children. Each lesson invites students to explore a new letter of the alphabet through a meaningful Catholic theme and a carefully selected work of sacred art.

From A for Angels to Z for Zeal, children are encouraged to look closely, ask questions, learn about their faith, and respond to what they discover through their own creative process.

Designed primarily for children ages 3–6, the lessons can also be adapted for older elementary-aged children.

💛 A Note From the Creator

This curriculum was born from my own love of art, my Catholic faith, and the incredible experience of sharing both with a classroom full of young children.

Throughout the year, I watched students engage with sacred artwork in ways that were often surprising, thoughtful, funny, and genuinely beautiful. They noticed details adults might overlook, asked wonderful questions, and brought their own creativity to every lesson.

Sacred Art ABCs was created to help other families and educators experience that same joy.

I hope it encourages meaningful conversations, inspires creativity, and helps children discover that the beauty of our faith can be found everywhere—including in a paintbrush, a coloring page, a carefully tied knot, or a child's own imagination. 🎨✨
