FAQ
Custom and personalized orders
All custom orders are painted from photo reference. Photos must be clear and of good quality to ensure accuracy of the subject. Photos also must display the subject in the desired position (i.e. a dog with its tongue out will be painted that way, and vise versa). I can make some tweaks (i.e. adding plants to houses, placing a pet in a different setting/background, zooming in, removing objects, etc.).
Other details, such as a printed address below a house portrait may be added at no additional cost. Please email meaganrosedesign@gmail.com for other inquiries.
Prices vary depending on the subject, quantity of details/subjects, and medium.
Sizing details
As a default, watercolor paintings are finished on 8”x10” paper. Other sizes are available and may be discussed in the initial inquiry submission.
Care instructions
Once a painting is completed and dried, watercolors are sealed with a wax medium that helps protect against color-fade from sun exposure. To ensure further protection, I ask my customers to not display artwork in an area where it will have direct sunlight for long periods of time. Avoid the use of gallery wall lamps.
Gift wrapping and packaging
All watercolor paintings are packaged in a clear sleeve with cardboard sheet to keep the painting flat and parent folding and water damage when shipped. You will also find a personal “thank you” card along with my business card.
If the painting is a gift, please email meaganrosedesign@gmail.com with the recipients name and the occasion for the gift.
