ABOUT THE ARTIST

As An Artist

Meagan Rose Design is owned by artist Meagan Gregg. Meagan earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and concentration in painting from George Mason University. She graduated in 2015 after having two installation pieces in the senior art show. 

Her business began in 2018 by offering commissioned oil paintings, but temporarily switched to exclusively using watercolors after having her first child in 2019. Before making this switch, her artwork was featured in two more art shows: Off the Wall at George Mason University in 2016, and RAW: DC in 2019. 

In November 2022, she became a Certified Art Therapy Practitioner. With limited virtual services, she is committed to practicing in the greater Northern Virginia area.

Today, she still offers a limited number of prints of original watercolors inspired by TV shows and other inspirations in her Etsy shop, and she continues to be open to custom orders primarily in the form of creating original artwork for events, but can still offer individual house paintings and pet portraits. As A Wife And Mother

Aside from art life, Meagan is a wife to a supportive husband, Alex, and a mother to a daughter and two sons. While life can be pretty hectic at times, she finds peace and joy in the family she has grown in their Catholic household. Foundations in faith are the core of her family, and she will tastefully intertwine her faith into her personal artwork.

Other than art, Meagan also enjoys the culinary art of sourdough to go along with other homemade dishes. It has become a fulfilling and rewarding hobby that the whole family enjoys.
